A Good Place to Spend Some Time

Having time on my hands this afternoon, I headed north to take a peek at Dickerson’s River Bottom, a part of the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department’s Granger Wildlife Management Area, their San Gabriel River unit.   It’s just a few miles north of Taylor, up Highway 95, then east on County Road 347.   That pleasant country road is among my favorite biking routes.   With recent nice weather, I’ve noticed many vehicles parked in the area to take advantage and get in some quality time with their rods and reels.   I’m glad I stopped by with my cameras, a very peaceful spot.
