Big Red

Texas is home to a soft drink called Big Red, but Big Red is also a fine-looking fish who goes by that name, too.  Big Red is a 5-year-old Flower Horn fish who acts as the unofficial mascot at the Trading Post in Taylor, Texas.    Alas, Big Red lives alone in his big aquarium.   Store owners tell me Big Red has made a meal of any other critters they try to put in there with him.   Big Red’s got teeth, folks. Still, he’s a cute fellow to see as you wander the aisles at the Trading Post.
