Autumn Color

When we’re lucky enough to get autumn color in southern part of Central Texas, it’s usually late in the year.   Having spent many years in North Georgia kind of spoiled me for the good colors there.   That said, it was nice to see a splash of color on the trees in Georgetown last week.   This view was taken late in the day on a nice stretch of the San Gabriel River trail, taken from a bridge on Austin Avenue and published on the front page of the Williamson County Sun.
