I took this photo at a middle school pet adoption. This young man and his dog already belonged to each other and made a cozy pair as they got in a few winks.

This little guy was too young to compete in a Williamson County youth livestock show in Georgetown, Texas, but he was good at taking care of some of the furry critters his older siblings had entered.

2010 was a great year for Texas wildflowers. One example was this scene in Ennis. This was published in the April 2011 issue of Texas Highways Magazine.

This little critter, a feisty Jack Russell terrier, found that persistence pays when needing a drink. This was at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race in Atlanta, GA.

I named this image “Hay Legs.” The photo was taken on Texas Highway 29 near Jonah, Texas and was published in the “Window on Texas” area of Texas Highways Magazine in April 2010.
