After graduating from University of Texas at Austin, I continually wandered east, first to my home country in northeast Texas, then off to Shreveport, Louisiana for a few years, followed by a big leap all the  way to Atlanta, Georgia, where I lived for 29 years before  coming back to Texas.    Most of my career has been in newspaper work, but I’m now doing some magazine work, both photography and writing.     After all these years, the work is still interesting and filled with growth.
