ATLANTA, GA (fulton county): In a photo at the 2nd annual ING Georgia Marathon and half-marathon, half-marathoner Lynnette Mitchell, right, gets a hug from her training partner Johanna Glatz, left, after both women completed the race. It was a very emotional few moments for the women. Mitchell shed quite a few tears. Glatz lives in Newnan and Mitchell lives in Atlanta. The start and finish of the race this year was near Centennial Olympic Park in downtown Atlanta. Just over 14,000 athletes signed up for the races. Andy Sharp / AJC.
